Ehgall El'Evani
The story I would tell, is of Ehgaal El'Evani, third child and second son of a small noble family in Alvian in the year 1553 AJ. Ehgaal's grandfather had been granted title for valor during the purging of the undead, and his house has lived a quiet existence since those times. As a house of lieutenants and rangers, the El'Evani family was surprised when Ehgaal was born. Frail and quiet, Ehgaal spent much of his childhood in study and meditation. His parents let him flourish in these studies, as his brother and sister grew into their roles as a warrior and ranger respectively, accepting Ehgaal's studiousness as a blessing of diversity to their house. In accordance with this, on his fiftieth birthday, he was sent to Sorfarien to study with the magi in their school. Auspiciously, but unbeknownst to him, he would begin study on the same day That Dalin I led the Perinican army to the western coast of Belaria.
His days of study were uneventful; he studied fastidiously under a stern, but understanding wizard, and completed his apprenticeship 84 years later on the same day Kradich christened his county. By this time, history of the human empire had long since reached the hands of the elven schools through trade with Laridrec. The curious nature of this empire had enthralled Ehgaal throughout his apprenticeship, and the founding of this new colony sealed his decision to spend his days studying these people. Having completed his apprenticeship, Ehgaal left Sorfarien to study The County of Kradich.
The last 44 years have not been quiet for Ehgaal. He has lived these years at the pace of a human, but he does not regret it. His studies have exploded his abilities as a wizard, and his experiences dealing with the varied situations that arise as the colony has grown have proven vastly precious. He would tell you that he has easily learned with the humans twice what he learned as an apprentice, only in half the time. As such he has watched friends amongst the Kriece burn their candle from apprenticeship to the autumn of their lives learning far more than he in their short time here, and as people he knew as peers when he arrived begin passing through winter to another spring, he has grown an acute respect for the accomplishments men make in their short lives.
